Torres most popular Premier League shirt name

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres’ surname was the most popular to feature on replica Premier League shirts printed worldwide last season.

It is the second successive season the Spaniard has been top, while Anfield team-mate Steven Gerrard was second in the top 10 list compiled by SportingiD.

Already for the iPhone we have desktop remoting apps.

Microsoft think around some of the following:

1. SCOM Monitor for iPad

2. BAM dashboard for iPad

3. Silverlight for iPad….another nail in the Flash coffin!!!

4. Powershell App for iPad

5. Expression suite app for iPad

Thought: Office Apps for iPad

Maybe it’s time for Microsoft to think forward rather than simply denounce a product such as the iPad.

A forward thinking Microsoft would embrace the iPad as an opportunity. Whatever we think the iPad will be big, very big. So guys get those Office Apps ready and onto it. Everything Apple have iWorks Apps that can read and write Office files.

Do it and do it better than Everything Apple

Not a simple job but here goes:

1. Make sure the adapter is configured correctly on the BizTalk side. Recommend this is done manually follow Mick Badran’s excellent blog here!!

2. Take the WSSv3 Adapter WS and copy it to the SP2010 environment.

3. Make changes to the WebService Web.config thus:

OldVersion=XX.0.0.0 NewVersion = YY.0.0.0

Note: Typically xx=11 yy=14. The version numbers of the Microsoft.SharePoint.dll

Liverpool: FA Cup Melt Down

Funny really, I expected Liverpool to lose tonight. For goodness sake we lose in the FA Cup when we are doing well in League and Champs league so what makes us think any different!

Seriously we have good players, we have world class players but we seem to have no idea of how to play. That is the fault of the coach/manager. That is why he must go and go now.

I’m sure a certain Mark Hughes would welcome the job!

Come on Liverpool board do it and do it now before it is too late and we drop like a stone!!

Liverpool: To lose Gerrard and Torres?

In an astonishing interview, the Kop boss has confessed for the first time that Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Javier Mascherano and Pepe Reina may have to be sacrificed if the Reds fail to claim the top-four place that will secure the club financially.

Benitez said that:

He may not be able to reject a big-money offer for any of his star performers without the consent of owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

The futures of his highly-coveted players are likely to hinge on Liverpool qualifying for the Champions League again.

Now on the surface this seems totally mad if what he says is true…but of course it is  not what he says but why he is saying it. Raffa thinks he is the master politics and in particular the politics of Liverpool FC.

He is upping the stakes with Hicks and Gillett. Basically ‘Give me the money for players or I’ll leave you with nothing’.

My view is that if Raffa dosn’t get the money or players he needs and fails to secure 4th or 3rd place then he will leave. If he leaves then my money would be on Torres, Renia and Mascherano also leaving. Stevie G is quite a different animal.

There is no way that Raffa would sell the boys and stay so the picture is even worse.

So what do I predict?

Liverpool secure fifth place and melt down. Hicks and Gillett sell fast to the Arabs and another re-build starts.

No title for another 10 years!!!
